A donation from Pub Charity has made it possible for the Trust to order a further 10 transceivers.
Some of these transceivers have gone to Ski and Camp (bringing the number of outlets for WATT tranceivers to three), and the remainder have bolsted the number of transceivers available at Hang Dog. See below for the details of where to hire these transceivers.
December 2003 Two more units now boost the number of transceivers to 10 for the Wellington area. Hang Dog in Lower Hutt is the second place to hire the transceivers, see below for details.

July 2003 Wellington Avalanche Transeiver Trust has its first 6 DTS Tracker units.

These units have been available made available to alpine travellers from the Wellington region.
